Interesting effort of this car owner who obviously did not live down town on the last Queens Day. Video here.
It’s a long (5 pages) but very interesting article from an American living in Amsterdam. He compares both countries, and keeps on running into the number 52. (Dutch income tax percentage for higher incomes.) He talks about how on many levels, life in Amsterdam is better than in the US, but also how people who are willing to excel leave the Netherlands. Funny part: Dutch people on welfare get “vacation money” so they can go on vacation from being unemployed. “Socialism gone wild” as he calls it. Read the rest here.
Apparently all songs are kind of the same. :)
And something that makes fun of the silly new microsoft commercials:
Kristina S. is paying 463 412 (see comments) dollars a month for 5 years for car she only drives “for fun”. She had an 2002 Audi A4 but that one was “not enough fun to fix” so instead she traded it in and got this “great deal” on a VW. Thank god a Volkswagen is not German, because she really did not want a German car again.
